Now in its 17th season, the St. Mark’s Recital Series is one of Durango’s not-to-be-missed musical series. The concerts are on Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and are followed by a reception where you can meet the artists and mingle with other area music lovers.

St. Mark’s Recital Series presents Madera Winds
Members of Madera Winds – Dr. Amy Thiemann Leal, flute; Dr. Cheyenne Cruz, clarinet; Dr. Angela K. Winter, horn – present an eclectic array of music from around the globe and across time, from classical to jazz. They will perform classic works by Christian Dickhut and Marcel Boucard to modern works by Allison Loggins-Hull and Bèla Kovács.

St. Mark’s Recital Series presents Nicolò Spera, Ten-String Guitar
Nicolò returns to Durango for a rare and special concert on the ten-string guitar featuring works by Biber, Ohana and Bach. Nicolò is one of the few guitarists in the world to perform on both six-string and ten-string guitars, as well as on the theorbo, a plucked string instrument of the lute family.
