Kasia Sokol Borup, artistic director of the festival, has assembled a great group of performers to present a great variety of music on this three-concert festival May 11, 18 & 25, 2012. Durango Chamber Music Academy Summer Institute
June 11-15 & 18-22, 2012
| The Durango Chamber Music Academy has been created by 3rd Ave. Arts in conjunction with the Durango Chamber Music Festival to provide the opportunity for young musicians to learn to play chamber music in a comfortable, nurturing setting and to encourage meeting friends with similar interests. In this second year, pianists are invited to join the the stringed instruments; in future years, other instrumentalists will be encouraged to participate.
